Worcester, MA – March 28, 2007- Laboratorio Elettrofisico Engineering Srl annouces the completion of its acquisition of Walker LDJ Scientific. The merger of Laboratorio Elettrofisico USA INC. and Walker LDJ Scientific creates a new global organization with proven leadership in the magnetizing and measurement industry. This combined company has engineering and production locations in Worcester, Massachusetts and Milan, Italy. Sales and service offices will exist globally in China, India, and several countries worldwide.
“We are pleased to announce the completion of this acquisition” stated Dario Zanon, Managing Director of Laboratorio Elettrofisico Engineering Srl. “With this acquisition; we will have a complete package of magnetizing and measurement solutions for our customers around the world. Additionally, we are excited to welcome the strong organization of engineers and experienced employees of Walker LDJ Scientific.
LE USA INC. Walker Scientific will stand commited to offering customers a total magnetic business resource uilizing the latest in technical solutions for both magnetizing and measuring. LE USA INC. Walker Scientific will provide complete service and support to all exisiting customers and equipment in the marketplace. Included in this acquisition is a complete line of spare parts, componets and finished goods which will be availiable to all customers at an extremely competitive price.
New company management will include Brian R. Palakow as Director of Sales & Operations and Steve Dakel as Director Of Measurement. Brian R. Palakow has a Bachelors degree in Business from the University of California, Santa Clara. He has been with LE for over seven years and has more than ten years of experience in the magnetics industry. Steve Dakel has a degree in marketing and an electrical engineering degree. He has over thirty one years of experience in the magnetic measurement industry & has traveled all over the world helping customers fullfill their magnetic measurement needs.
