Fixture for Down Step Transformers
A step–down transformer is connected to the magnetizer (the impulsive power supply). These types of magnetizing heads are connected to the secondary of the of the transformer, so to work at low voltage and high current. They are made of a core containing a thick, low impedance, solid copper circuit.
Applications:
- Magnetization of ferrite magnets DC stators
- Magnetization of ferrite magnets rotors
Key benefits:
- Robust.
- Very fast duty cycle
- Easily replaceable for different models, keeping the same transformers
- Very safe (low voltage)
Options:
- Air or water cooled
- With or without magnetic core
- Any type of permanent magnet materials
