AMH-500-P Hysteresisgraph – Advanced BH Tracer for Hard Magnetic Materials

The new powerful AMH-500-P Hysteresisgraph BH tracer is a DC automatic magnetic characterization equipment of hard magnetic materials with a bigger yoke. This permits a much higher field respect the standard one (up to +54% at higher gaps).
Other improvements:

  • More suitable for samples having big size and high coercivity
  • Additional thermal protections and controls on the yoke and cabinet
  • More powerful power supply in the permeameter
  • Finer control of the temperature of the high-T poles with special heating controller

AMH-500-P meets the International Standard IEC 60404-5 and ASTM A977 as well as the AMH-500. Measurements are performed either at room temperature or temperatures up to 220 ° with dedicated heating poles.

SOFTWARE

Xenon is a powerful software to manage automatically the measurement and provides additional help to overcome several physical limitations; extrapolation of the curve at higher or lower temperatures, interpolation of the curve when incomplete or irregular, curve’s completion for high-coercivity magnets, etc.

This operating software maintains the overall accuracy controlling all the parameters to ensure the measurement is precise and prevents operator’s errors.

TRAINING

The training is provided both during the Acceptance test in Laboratorio Elettrofisico before delivery and, upon request, at Customer’s facility.
